Today, I was proud that I am a student in Mr. Wedvik's Chem Honors class. :D
He did an experiment demonstrating the Tyndall Effect: being able to see particles being suspended (not observed in solutions) like headlights in a fog and being able to see that beam of light that you usually wouldn't in normal conditions. So we had AN AWESOME RAVE PARTY-- he had a fog machine and clouded up the entire room and closed the windows and doors-- it looked like everyone was smoking weed like in Thats 70s Show. Then, he used a laser pointer and we could see the entire beam across the room and then he started playing rave music and using a strobe light app from his phone xDDD
But the coolest part was this canon shooter thing that made fog bubbles blow across the room like a scene from Super Mario
oh dear i sound lame. xD
anyways, once class ended and we opened the door the fire alarm went off! mean vice principal saw a bunch of chem honors kids laughing hysterically (including me) and said, "YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY- YOU THINK FIRE ALARMS ARE FUNNY" which mr. Wedvik replied to.... eep, i really hope he hasn't gotten in trouble because it would be such a shame since he's a fucking BADASS TEACHER who was dancing along during the rave like a maniac.
we were able to stay outside for a full 20 minutes in the beautiful, sunny, it's-just-about-to-be-spring-i-can-feel-it-coming weather and the crucible test for english was postponed to tomorrow.
